This is a correct decision. APIs have to be designed to support subclassing properly. It's also a performance win.

This is a correct decision. APIs have to be designed to support subclassing properly. It's also a performance win.
- msie 11y agoInteresting, it's like how Swift forces you to think about nulls. Now you have to think about people subclassing your classes.
