very incorrect. Visit a country with near-100% NFC contactless card rollout like AU or NZ. Contactless cards(paywave) are effectively instant. Checkout lines are noticeably faster, probably 2x with small/single item counts. Everyone sighs & judges the person paying cash while they hold up the line for everyone else. The US will eventually catch up, and you'll all wonder why you waited so long.
