- praptak 17y agoIt seems that it is just impossible to write about markets without getting into things like: "If, historically, real estate prices have always gone up, they will keep rising until they can go down." (actual quote from the linked article.)

- joezydeco 17y agoThe report I heard was that Google did great, but not as great as the analysts expected. I still don't get why analysts are able to drive the price so much. If their educated guess is even wrong by $0.01/share sometimes, people freak out.
- ojbyrne 17y agoGoogle's P/E ratio is so high that almost anything that suggests non-exponential growth is going to be an excuse for a selloff.
