It's called continuous testing. As mentioned below, Wallaby.JS does it for Javascript, and on the .NET side at least there's NCrunch [1] and recently Resharper

As mentioned below, Wallaby.JS does it for Javascript, and on the .NET side at least there's NCrunch [1] and recently Resharper added their own take on it [2]
