In Latin America tap water is not drinkable so most people get their drinking water bottled.
- patrickaljord 11y agoNot in Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador and probably Colombia. People there massively drink boiled tap water.
- seizethecheese 11y agoI just got back from Peru, everybody was drinking bottled water and boiling water for cooking. I'm sure this is a matter of preference.
- patrickaljord 11y agoYou were probably with middle class people (lived there for 5 years, wife's from there).
