- Dylan16807 11y agoIs that even manipulation? You're not allowed to leave the line now as everyone after you hurts your standing? That sentence does not even come close to properly addressing it.

- Dylan16807 11y agoI know. pkaye mentioned one of the critical flaws with the plan, and you quoted the article as if he missed the part where it addressed the flaws. But it doesn't address them, it just says "maybe my plan doesn't make any sense, not my problem".
- rabbyte 11y agoI quoted the article where it concedes the point. Usually a system is only coherent within a set of assumptions, in this case the assumption is people can't easily rejoin or see their placement. That maybe doesn't hold for physical lines but the example the article goes into is an internet service where people have no control or awareness over their place in line. In any case, I'm just reiterating what the article says about this point, not sure what there was to disagree about.
