Nice! I recently started using Vim for prose and was mentally writing (in preparation for actually writing) a plugin that would do just this. I couldn't think of any better way to do it either, other than what you've done, setting up splits

Dark matter has not been observed, hence the name. We know something is there, but we don't know what is is and we have not seen it.

Also, on the video there is no need to spend over a minute showing someone how to register on the site. Jump straight to the product which looks really interesting.

I use vim with eclim[1]. You have to have Eclipse open, headless if you choose, but you get most of the features of Eclipse right from vim. http://eclim.org/

The OTA update worked without a hitch for me on an iPhone 4 running beta 3. I haven't noticed much different except that it is a little faster maybe.

I have Comcast in Seattle and have gone over the limit 2 of the last 3 months uploading backups to CrashPlan. 260gb in April and 455gb in May. I haven't gotten a warning and my service hasn't been cut off. I'm not sure what he did to incur

You can sync your iPhone contacts with Gmail and save new contacts you add on your phone directly to Gmail if you add the account as an Exchange account on the phone.

I've been using (and loving) vim-update-bundles for about 5 months now. I'm not sure how the two compare in terms of features, but the core functionality is the same. https://github.com/bronson/vim-update-bundles

Yes. I really dislike those dialogs. I wouldn't mind something within the app that had a link to rate it, maybe on a menu, in the settings, possibly even a much more subtle reminder that showed up somewhere else while I was using the app,

If you right click the app then "show package contents" in the Finder then go to Resources > Contents there's a file with keybindings called keys.nu. You can see (sidemap setKey:"<c-d>" toAction:"scroll_downward:") (sidemap setK

I love the "Cease and desist - Rovio" testimonial. Wouldn't surprise me if that became a reality since they're selling merch. Awesome idea though.

Looks great, but the default install didn't work on my blog for some reason. I'll have to look into exactly why. I'm on WP 3.1 with a WooThemes theme. ( http://marcusvorwaller.com/blog ) In any case, I'm excited to use it once I get the kin

Mine has a couple pretty bad light leaks on the bottom right which had me considering returning it. I decided not to though since they are only noticeable on a black screen (letter boxed videos notably) and because I don't want to have to w

OP isn't complaining about the price, or at least not principally. He's complaining about the 4gb download, the 15gb of HDD and the time of installing Xcode just to get gcc. The price is just another barrier to entry to add to the list befo

We had two pairs in the office and modded one and not the other. In a blind test two of three actually preferred the non-modded 555's. Our test wasn't great though, 10 seconds of a relatively low quality mp3 and none of us are audiophiles,

This is my first time seeing either, but I can tell that if I sent someone a link to Crate and and a link to CloudApp and told them to share a file with me, I'd have to spend a few minutes explaining how Cloud works, how to install it etc.

That's what I was saying. From what I've seen, pure.js does seem preferable to using Mustache or jQuery templates. I was curious if anyone else had other feedback after using it. The reason I am considering it is to be able to use Ruby erb

Out of curiosity, what do you like better about Firebug? I've been using the Chrome web inspector for awhile now and loving it. Maybe there's some feature in Firebug that's useful that I don't know about yet though.

PersonalBrain does feel a bit clunky in Java and it stinks that it's a desktop-only application (with a not-so-great and expensive Java web version). That having been said, it still rocks. I use it every day. I would love to see competition

An interesting counter-example is Goodreads.com. The number of features on the site is amazing, and consistently growing. At a first glance it seems to be a fairly basic site for book reviews, but the deeper you dig you find a full fledged
