Namespaces is an idea that I have considered, and I have defined a kind of namespacing called "Unusenet", which uses "un" followed by the number of components of the domain name that the namespace belongs to, a reverse d

I had the same ideas about feeds and blogs as you have, and I agree. I have seen the idea about Markdown before, and have considered that too; it is not a bad idea. However, clients should only render Markdown if the article contains a &quo

The difference is that it is potentially more efficient (depending what the optimizer does). (At least, it is how I do C programming.)

That isn't very good. I would think better would be: int is_valid_email(const char*email) { return !!*email; } But, either way, it isn't good enough, because it is considered valid even if there is no at sign.

I do pretty much the same thing. Although I don't do a lot of email sign up stuff anyways.

Don't force anyone to use it. Both HTTP and HTTPS can be used, in addition to other protocols such as SMTP, NNTP, Gopher, Telnet, SSH, etc. To ensure to have free internet, to allow all protocols including if someone invents a new one,

This makes it part of the web page though, which isn't useful. Useful is making it part of the browser itself, perhaps as an extension.

I use server side only, and that is also what I recommend. If wanted, you can program it to reduce what things are logged if the "DNT:1" header is present (and I do this too).

It is why I like IRC channels to have public logs. (These can be client-based logs or server-based logs; all I know are client-based, although server-based logs are also possible and this is independent of the protocol; you don't need
