In principle there was already some separation of duty as solictors in England owe a duty to the Court regardless of who pays them. However it seems not to have been enough in this case. Hopefully will be looked into.

Washing the salt off will reduce rate of corrosion. Probably the most important to wash is the underneath. I suppose it is more important for cars that do not do that many miles/year as in this case the internal parts will last a long

Very nicely written article. One thing about rust, salt and moisture: salts deliquescence. I.e. they absorb moisture from air until there is enough liquid to dissolve themselves in. This happens below 100% relative humidity (around 75% for

Lots of exciting possibilities in here and good work by the authors previously but this one is a bit of "white paper" paper describing what could be done in the future if the money is there

This is the key. The prosecutions were all "private prosecutions" by the post office, in which a private entity begins (and sometimes carries through to end) a prosecution _on behalf of the people_. There is an enormous amount of

In intensity interferometry the phase is not measured, and the timing accuracy is I believe only proportional to the desired effective bandwidth of the measurement. It was done in 1950's with bandwidths ~10 MHz -> 0.1microsec accura

Developers are gonna develop... I agree if you give them a "new" software project risks are high and chance of success surprisingly low. Making do with existing software often better choice.

The problem for this listing as I see it is that yearly profit Arm makes is about £600 million. If you had £10 billion three years ago you'd be lucky to earn 100 million in interest. Today you can earn very near £600 million / ye

Between the various articles this week I learnt about the Kronos gurantee described in the F-1 ( https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1973239/000119312523... Note 19). As I understand it if Arm does n

Yes it was more than just thinking. However the firm commitment from NVidia was I think only $33.5 billion . The other $5billion was contingent on future performance (don't know the terms) and 1.5billion was for staff. https:/&
