So... what about using Gitlab ( https://about.gitlab.com/gitlab-ce/ )? It's open source (MIT license), it's a (very polished) clone of Github's functionality and workflow, and it can be self-hosted. Someon

So how long until this gets forgotten about and then taken offline, like Google Base, Google Notebook, Google Sidewiki, Google Wave, and whatever other note-taking stuff I've missed?

Even the domain's WHOIS has Enom's Whois privacy service instead of an actual company contact listed.

There also doesn't seem to be any clear way to make a bulk purchase for a company instead of per individual.

To quote myself from the last time I commented on an article about DF: I will continue to have no interest in Dwarf Fortress until it has an actual UI instead of whatever insane random combinations of controls the developer felt like adding

Honestly, at this point the only things actually keeping me using ST over Atom are (1) the SFTP plugin, (2) per-project settings, and (3) click-and-drag multiple cursors... and Atom plugins have already started making headway on 1 and 2.

Different hardware. Traditional laser scanners of the sort still used by many companies can't read off a phone screen.

This and similar apps would be a lot more useful if more places had Starbucks-style optical scanners instead of the traditional barcode readers. As it is, even some companies that have Passbook integration or official in-app barcodes don&#x

It helps at this point that Mint itself and its corporate owner Intuit have a long history of reasonably good online security (certainly better than some banks I've used), plus the whole "owned by Intuit" thing gives a solid

This isn't really Airbnb's problem, though I imagine they could do a better job of showing what lengths of stay would make tenant rights' laws or other legal complications kick in.

Worm is pretty good, but it runs into the issue that the continuing escalation of the narrative's scope, and a considerable time-skip partway through the story, can (depending on the reader) lose the aspects that drew a reader's i
