I'm not sure who this is build for. Wouldn't most OS have these functions builtin? macOS and iOS do.

I was wondering about the same thing. Is there instructions on how to scale the containers. Is it just matter of updating docker compose file or are there other configuration files I need to touch.

The study is around memory function development. You really don't need good memory to be a programmer. I have googled code questions and came across my own answers on SO. It happened more than once.

Sounds like they have better self driving tech.

I wouldn't dismiss the idea so quickly. This appears to be a stepping stone to automatic gear shifting. Memory alloy would be cheaper and more reliable than step motors.

I recall blog posts about web 3.0 after the success of web 2.0. Linear extrapolation does not always work in tech.

It appears Tesla FSD just ignores things it doesn't understand, which is really dangerous in a production vehicle.

Shopify is fine. They have a nice eco-system of devs and integrated apps. Gumroad should be worried.

I found it's really cool how you can prefix any variable with # and makes it interactivee. How do you map variables to draggable surface in studio?

From inside FAANG, I have seen many projects over engineered to death. I think the problem is lack of experience combined with the selfish need to make the job more interesting.

On the flip side of income, I think the inflation indicators have also diverged to the point where the mean is no longer telling the whole story.

I remember first time seeing Elastic Search around 2012. Shay Banon was the sole commiter for over two years at the time. Never underestimate determined founders.

I have seen some of their SaaS demos. It might fool some high level decision makers, but anyone with technical background can see right through their fake-n-bake garbage.

This is a missed opportunity to force China open up. Let Google, FB compete in Chinese market. Win-win all around. Forcing the sale is short sighted and only deepens the divide.

I interned at Nortel in early 2000's right before it all went down. I can tell you the engineering culture was rotten within. No-one was doing anything useful for years. Many orgs were built around milking the ancient layer 2 passport

That's why it was genius for Apple to bet on privacy. It's the only big tech company I can trust with my health data.
