Yea, IME the best manual for nixos/nixpkgs is the repo and the manual for git, grep etc. I clone or save every public repo or article or whatnot i find that helps me or seems interesting. These two examples come to mind: the page that

I’m using that exact feature for a blue/green/another color deploy setup, it’s very nice. The server with the hosted application builds a vm of itself, run some checks. Route traffic to (RR). If it’s all good, send the VM to a sec

You should self host not trust a third party application if you run into either of those things. The weights are open. DeepSeek didn’t change, the application you’re accessing it through did. Or use an enterprise-ready service. Bedrock, fir

The diff-fenced is iirc specific to Gemini models, they really don’t like the file path outside of the fence. The architect mode still uses one of the other edit format, the prompt just ends up a little different.

Yep, this. I see a lot of other worryingly confident answers in the thread that are wrong. SGLang finally has at least some notes[0], but I’m always surprised there isn’t more of a community wide effort to trace down the sources of indeterm

I’m serving it on 16 H100s (2 nodes). I get 50-80 tok/s per request, and in aggregate I’ve seen several thousand. TTFT is pretty stable. Is faster than any cloud service we can use.

I find myself wondering about your story, and would love it if you would elaborate more. I have gotten some use out of LLMs, and have been quite involved in training a few compute intensive (albeit domain-specific) ones. Maybe it's the

I find Gemini excellent for sql. Wouldn’t consider myself an expert in many things, but in sql and database design id consider myself close. I like writing queries and doing the architecture, and that’s where it’s exceptionally helpful. The

I find CF poles last at least 400 miles on average through moderately rocky terrain. And rarely catastrophic failure. Lots of collapsible poles tend to start breaking close enough to the sleeve that you can shift the rings and tighten them

I’m not really bothered at all. Something like us may exist many times over in the vast universe. We may never know. And that’s what is exciting, IMO. The idea of dying with all the answers is not that exciting to me. But to die with some o
