Your not supposed to do that but just the same I would not discuss marriage or family in an interview. Where I always ran into trouble was child care. I had one boss who moved his parents to the US from China to raise his son, often comment

That happened to me in Italy. I knew I was in trouble when the chef came out to shake my hand. I did not realize the steak was priced per ounce, was the biggest steak I’d even seen, ended up costing me ~$400.

I think there are legitimately people out there who can’t function without other people being in the same room as them - and if they happen to be in a position of authority where they can inflict that on other people it causes a lot of prob

I was picturing Steve-O launching a thousand butt shaped weather balloons and calling it the "moon festival" as a play on words. Unidentified Flying Orifices seemed too obvious. Hope Wee Man doesn't go airborn and get shot do

A large weather balloon is like $100 and the sidewinder missiles being used to shoot them down cost ~$500,000. If some prankster launched a thousand balloons wouldn't it cost half a billion dollars to shoot them all down? "I'

I think this is a good development. I'd rather my "app" be chunk of wasm running in a browser window then have to deal with all the drama that comes with dealing with the various app stores. Its not a universal solution but i

I don’t believe the states have to embrace everything the federal government says - see marijuana and enhanced IDs as examples. However the federal government often ties receiving federal funds to passing and enforcing federal policy. So d

My understanding is that they are rolling this out to the US this year also - too many US hosts were starting to do the low base cost plus bazillion fees thing and it's causing frustration. Now if they can just do something about all t

Following in the example of the Airlines I think it should be universally required to disclose all fees up front so that you can do a proper comparison - too frequently you don't receive those numbers until the very last step. Like ren
