Too bad the date stamps only can go back to 1970-1-1. It's neat, though, to be able to flip through the history like this.

I use OpenVPN to tunnel iSCSI on a remote machine. Then I mount the iSCSI device using LUKS. Finally I rsync into the LUKS mount point. Encrypted, incremental, bla bla. Works pretty well. Here's the script: zx2c4@thinkpad ~ $ cat

Back in the day when Skype was a pretty cool peer-to-peer encrypted mesh network, that successfully evaded firewalls and traffic analysis, I wrote a tool to proxy Internet traffic ontop of the Skype mesh. I was quite young when I wrote it,

Actually, the issue is that Hangouts doesn't work with federated XMPP. This means I can't talk to my @gmail.com friends from my own XMPP server. This is a problem, which significantly breaks things.

I'm glad to hear you didn't have trouble with those bugs. They actually prevented new packages from building in Debian and Fedora, due to our unit tests catching the bugs, and we had to do a double-release on one day to fix them -

If anyone here is a `pass` [1] user, and you're using 2.1.1, or 2.1.0, I encourage you to upgrade. These two older versions of GnuPG had some nasty bugs, fixes for which the pass community sent upstream where they were accepted. The re

Pass works very well with teams, as it supports various levels of key combinations. It also will run well under Cygwin on Windows.

Yes -- pass has extensive support for being used by teams. You can set various levels of ACLs by having different combinations of keys for different directories.
