Not really. No matter what enterprise dev I talked to their product is completely unsaveable. Too big for a rewrite and basically a Frankenstein monolith/microservice done wrong architecture. It's really painful to see how bad som

Doing it professionally destroyed all the magic for me. Everything is slop, customer appointments are exhausting af, nobody is able to precisely communicate their needs and im supposed to be the people pleaser saying "sure can do"

Web applications have become too big and heavy. Corps want to control everything. A simple example would be a simple note taking app which apparently also has to sync throughout devices. They are going to store every note you take on their

We still barely know how LLMs really work. Hard to tune things you dont understand. Inbefore people telling me "akshually we know all about bla bla bla..." no we dont.

Yea makes sense, its also a total normal thing to use packages from people who are way more versed in a specific problem you are trying to solve. Just takes away the whole magic of building things for me.

That people in the industry barely code, its just stitching together 3rd party dependencies.

I dont use AI for social interaction, I'd feel like a loser if I did that. But I also have a lot of trust issues with regular humans as I got disappointed over and over again. Didn't try to connect with people for over 10 years no

These "ill-advised beliefs" are extremely valid beliefs. Most humans are just ignorant and human history has shown that plenty of times. I admire people blind enough to see the good in humanity

Not if you went through 100 of these unnecessary interview processes solely due to small companies copying big tech where half of their dev team couldn't complete their hiring process.

A brick layer isn't asked to build a wall prior to getting a job. A certificate confirming he did learn the job is enough for companies to employ them. Same goes for a lot of other jobs. Just hire devs and kick them out if they dont fi
