At least for BLE one could use advertising packets to transmit the data, sensor beacons tend to do this with e.g. a temperature. There is also the scan-response mode, initiated by the device scanning for others. And you can use plain GATT

For German speakers there's also this 'Geschichten aus der Geschichte' Podcast episode on the matter which does a fairly good job telling the story IMO. https://www.geschichte.fm/archiv/gag368/

Then archive the repo or close the issue tracker and let the people whine on some forked repo

Would this be comparable to a CE marking in Europe or more like a TÜV certification?

It's slowly entering the market as LE Audio / Auracast. Might be a while till good os support is available though

The advantage is ease of use, semihosting is rather slow and has a big impact on system behaviour, as it uses a breakpoint and r0 to transfer a datapoint. It is definitely slower than SWO or RTT, which transfers data over SWD. You can find

RTT can be used without SEGGER tools, I've used it with cargo embed and deferred formatting, so the logging has minimal impact on the overall system. Properly using UART with DMA is very close to the RTT experience though

Isn't there a bunch of embassy based async stuff in esp-rs?

Yes, but you would still need to convert the differential signals to UART with appropriate voltage levels. A RS-485 to USB adapter might be the better option here. But a buspirate has way more usability than just UART, it's awesome for

The similar Austrian system was called 'Quick' and has been defunct for a few years now. I only ever used it for vending machines, mostly cigarettes https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quick_(Geldkarte)

It definitely is, but if you are looking for a challenge, I think the randomizer is pretty fun https://alttpr.com/ There are even races and tournaments, often with the more difficult variations like keysanity

You can compare all the other releases, including Breath of the Wild, why should this release be any different? Especially when the emulator keeps improving and PC hardware keeps getting better

We are talking playing a current generation console game on emulator with better framerate and resolution than on the original console, at release. So no, it has not always been the case

One might assume that and it is mostly true for round based games, but for real-time you just cannot achieve the actions per minute needed on touch. A game like Starcraft or similar is barely playable

It's "gesagt-getan" in German so it's a combination of two words in the order mentioned in TFA
