Turkish culture is filled with traditions that predate Islam and have, what Turks like to call, "Shamanic" origin. The divide may even be more stark, because while they are common, they are in some way counter to fundamentalist vi

It's not unrealistic that there are political preferences in Turkey. However, I think that is hard to say. I certainly would not state it in the absolute. Sites that are not connected to the Ottomans, easily excavated and then visible

I mean, the Pfizer/Moderna vaccines still have between 90% and, let's say, 60% efficacy against mild cases, and the long covid severity scales with "how mild" your case is going to be. There is a likelihood that Covid gi

It’s really interesting to see other fields trying to explain research. Here, I feel the authors are not entirely clear who the audience is supposed to be. At first, they seem to target people who need the difference between Einstein and Ma

Does anyone know why these medicinal studies do not seem to use more modern statistical methods of observational causal inference? I mean yes you can not RCT and yes a linear model should be the baseline, but then why not go ahead and do so

I largely agree with your reasoning, but I emphasized the profit incentives as driving the decision to choose two part tariffs, because I think whatever happens next will also be driven be these concerns. Firms will also have realized that

I think the problem is that in the American education system, anything needs to be taught at a university. There are trade schools, but there are no "real" trade school degrees that actually mean something. The idea of academic re

I agree with Op that this is still essentially learning on labeled data. I say this, since there are also cases of constrastive sampling like ideas with truly unsupervised data. For example, Graph Embedding, where a graph implies structural
