Ok. So the P4 language is not competing with it, and could be made to compile to ebpf.

Does ebpf have a programming language? I've seen blog posts about writing ebpf programs with Zig, Rust, C++, C at least.

Ada and C++ are worlds apart, how is it possible to come so close as to be "just syntax" with static analyzers and their known limitations? Unless we are talking about all programming languages being "just syntax" for a

The safety issue or comparison against C/C++ was not mentioned in the submission. So I don't follow why the protest against replacements for Haskell programs, based on a safety argument.

Are you implying that Rust is only / mostly used as a replacement for unsafe C/C++, and Rust programs should always be evaluated in the context of this choice?

By JS do you mean Node here? Node has both blocking and async versions of a lot of IO operations. But async IO is more commonly used certainly. The real question might be whether a thread pool backed async IO implementation makes your progr

There are 2 scenarios: 1. We drastically reduce fossils using regulation / legislation, in which case they become harder to get (eg more expensive) than the alternatives for most users. 2. We don't reduce fossils, in which case we
