not really, the data is still there, there are just 2 different file contents saved into one and playing with the zip and jpg format so both of them are still readable.

face id is more relible than touch id. you no longer have to remove gloves, you can open it with wet fingers and it is faster. also, all mu touch id phones started to give more fingerprint recognition fails after 1year+

That's easy to do. After having the fix, go from the beginning and see if it still happens. Of course, this flow does not apply to all kinds of bugs, but I'm willing to bet that at least 90% of them can be fixed like this.
