Do you know of any providers that will work nicely/automatically with DNSimple?

And link to their Git support is here: http://support.dnsimple.com/articles/github-sync/ (if only DNS wasn't down..)

You can force your hosts file locally. Set "dnsimple.com" to "50.31.213.210". On Mac use "sudo pico /etc/hosts" and follow the formatting of the other entries.

Cool. Do you need a provider that supports 'zone transfers'? Or is that only to keep things in sync automatically ?

Can you use custom nameservers with your service?

I moved from Zerigo to DNSimple, and it's been awesome until now! What can you do to prevent this in future? Can you run multiple DNS providers simultaneously? So, ns1/ns2 go to DNSimple, and ns3/ns4 go to another provider?

Same setup here except Cloudflare instead of Route53. So I guess it's S3/CloudFront related?

So, same as the https://encry.pt which has been around for 3+ years?

No, it will update automatically within a couple of days.

What part of their registration is a positive experience?

Sorry, I don't have a list of others. Australia (.au) stopped showing it to rule out all of those renewal/transfer scams and it has worked really well since.

Irrelevant for some TLDs that don't show the world your domain expiry date.

Off the top of my head... AWS, Linode, Rackspace, Spotify, 1Password, Sublime, Panic Transmit, Dropbox, DNSimple, Github, Harvest, Xero, Google Apps..

Haha. We claim anything good New Zealand ever does anyway. Pharlap, etc.
