The term for these types of microscopes, at least in the industries I've worked in, is an inspection microscope. They're normally lower power than a typical binocular scope like you would see in a biology lab, but work on opaque m

Well, it's oracle, so as far as I'm concerned anything that hurts them or their IP is a legitimate public service. That said, it does seem more than a little cheeky for a VC backed company to open up a public gofundme for this.

I guess I may have phrased that slightly incorrectly. The ornamentation is unnecessary from a functional viewpoint, but that isn't a bad thing. It is one of the reasons those buildings are so good looking, and that is not a bad thing.

I'd say we've stopped making these types of grand monuments, but that's been relatively recent. Think of things like the Chrysler building or the Empire State building, they have tons of unnecessary ornamentation and are stil

Yeah, I did the printer as a hobby thing when I built my first reprap. It was fun, and I learned a ton, but the state of the art in 2014 just wasn't there for low-end machines to be reliable. I replaced it with a prusa in 2019,and I ha

I would hope that security critical parts of the OS that can't be exposed as an API aren't being used to communicate with the apple watch. Why would the apple watch need access to these APIs that can't be publicly exposed? Is

It's still FILO, the shuffle is needed for multiple locations. The emergency store keeps (for example) 5x the stock of canned beans, and feeds an area with 4 regular stores. They have 5x more stock then they could regularly sell, so if

Absolutely don't run an extension cord through a wall, that's only slightly less of a fire hazard than storing a gasoline can on top of the server. Extension cords are normally very derated, expecting occasional use and ample cook
