In general, this is one of the most frustrating things with trying to secure yourself online. I have gone through like "I WANT TO USE PASSPHRASES" then gone to places like PAYPAL and had them have an upper limit on password lengt

So, let's fund things that make people live longer and save their lives but not things to help solve problems related to increased and older population? Seems asinine.

I always get the one that is like "select all of the storefronts" and I screw it up consistently. I end up having to go through like 20 pictures before I'm verified because I choose things that look, to me, like storefronts

It's funny you mention that Microsoft keyboard. I was reading your story about the Model M and thinking "Yeah I'd love to switch to a mech keyboard again but I love my Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 by Microsoft too much.&q

Yes! Absolutely! The worst thing is when you're on a site and you're browsing it and something pops up saying something along the lines of "Click here to get our app!" or it overlays the screen and tells you to use the

Honestly, with my glasses I've got pretty good eyes, and the gray text was a LOT harder to read than the black text. When it faded it became like reading through a blur.

I am not sure what the purpose of this is. My experience with emojis has been people will hit a bunch of them to emphasize something. When seeing a bunch of the same emoji next to each other your application seems to try to interpret them

Really well said! Also, before reading your explanation, I was a little hazy on how the image stacking thing worked. Now I understand a lot better. It's like averaging to get all of the details to the forefront without the oddities!

Oh my god I love this idea. We have 3 monitors where I work and it STILL doesn't feel like enough. Having an infinite area to place a Visual Studio window, SSMS, etc etc would be amazing!

Question, did you count the paragraphs or do you have some extension that does it for you? That sounds helpful..

I'm with you! I complain about this a lot. You go to an article looking for say "A recipe for Kombucha" and, instead of a recipe for Kombucha, you find 6 paragraphs about how great Kombucha is and how the writer's kids

The only problem that I could see there is that you actually kind of need weight on a tractor. You take a 500lb tractor and take out the 150lb engine you're getting a lot closer to the weight of the driver and you're upping the p

For the record, I meant evil in a fun way. Like a cartoon villain. Suitably meaning that it was a good equal response to what they've been dealing with.

That was what I meant. It isn't really evil. "Suitably evil", in my mind, implies that they are responding with a suitable amount of evil to what they've been faced with.

I'd bet this is a move to make the ISPs that are throttling them look bad. If people start to use it to check their speeds and they are downloading Netflix content from Netflix and the ISP is throttling, it will look slower than it is

This was the first thing I noticed too. What's the point of a slider if I can't watch it change as I slide? It'd make more sense to just show me a series of images or possibly allow me to select what I'm looking at bas
