Yes, I would and would not ;-) The technology in use is called XPFE. For a full (graphical) overview, see http://mb.eschew.org/1 It is different sorts of XML (XBL, XUL, RDF, DTD) controlled via Javascript and styled by CSS

How would anyone post such a picture of himself? https://phylogenyexplorerproject.com/images/aron.png Too bad, one has to sign up, otherwise I'd be very interested in such a interactive document. EDIT: Ah, it'

Sure. tl;dr: As soon as the "digital domain" steps into the "physical domain", you can not guarantee a "side effects" free system. Let's start with a real-life example: I have a Macbook from 2006, which ha

I wonder, why not a single word has been spoken about Keepass/X, which is available on all platforms (not sure about iOS, though), can work with UbiKeys, afaik, has huge im- and export support and is free from any corporate interests.

That's because it's brand new tech. I assume, that the Chinese, who came up with Arduino boards, that cost USD1.99 will also create knock-offs of these and prices will fall extremley.

You are right. But I remember, that I had read a similar story, a week, or two, ago and the topic was, that the police found out about the killer in a murder case, by listening to Echo recordings from the kitchen. I doubt, that this would b

That is, what I guess, though I have no numbers. That dot-matrix ribbon ink is cheaper than toner. Also, I'd like to have a A3 sized, colored dot matrix printer. That as Laser would be extremly expensive.

Yes, I understand. InkJets bring in the money via the ink and also, the market for dot-matrix must now be smaller, than it was, when that printing technique was the only affordable on the market.
