Yeah, but was there a campaign against products that were assembled with robots? Like there are anti AI art campaigns on Artstation and elsewhere.

Did anyone care about welders who got replaced, because robots are much better at welding car frames together? Only now when "prestigious" white collar positions are being threatened people are starting to freak out.

I've seen many people on Twitter and Reddit calling for a total ban of image generators, because they take away jobs from artists. Yes - they think that even "ethical" models from Adobe and Getty should be banned.

Wouldn't it make more sense to install 230V on a boat? Modern electronics handle 100-240 anyway and you can save on cables.

It would have been impressive in 2005, but by 2013-2014 TLOU wasn't that special any more. Average computers were much stronger than consoles by then.

The USSR had lots of nukes. And then it collapsed. Nobody launched the nukes.

You people already tried this in 1994. Ukraine gave up their nukes and got invaded anyway. Good luck convincing any other country to give up their nukes. If NK has nukes then why can't SK and Japan have some too?

NK seems to be getting disproportionate media attention compared to other dirt poor and authoritarian countries.

If those botnets can be controlled through the Great Firewall - does that mean that they're sanctioned by the Chinese government?

Did they try those cars during winter? In typical spring conditions where you have wet ice and wet snow on the road and road markings aren't visible. Oh right - those don't happen in California.

That's because most emulator users are pirates. Few people bother dumping their games themselves.

It helps that many console devs don't bother with low-level optimisations, because they can get away with a bit worse performance. Just cap the framerate to 30 like most other console games do. It wasn't an option during the NES e

A potential career path would be to work on commercial console emulators at Nintendo or Microsoft. Or on compatibility layers like Wine/Proton.

Most niche subreddits are still good. Just avoid big/default subs and anything related to politics and culture wars. That's what disappointed me when I tried reddit alternatives. Politics and culture wars were there too, but niche
