My mom knows what the Bitcoin is. She hasn't bought any and pays bills with euros instead.

A tiny amount of gold costs a shitload of money. 1kg of gold costs around 60k eur. More than most people have in savings. No problems to transport something like that if you don't brag that you own it. But the same applies to BTC. Tell

I have sent money across borders countless times and it arrived just fine. No need to give my money to shady exchanges like FTX.

Extreme porn can be found too easily. It wasn't like that when I was a kid. There were no ways around it. We simply could not even think of all the disgusting fetishes that are only a few clicks away nowadays.

How would you supervise your kid when he's at school but you're at work? How could you prevent a classmate showing him porn? Back when I was a kid I had no way to access extreme porn. Porn mags were quite tame compared to modern p

There can be something in the middle between prohibition and teenagers accessing extreme porn with a few clicks. When I was a kid I didn't have access to extreme porn. Porn magazines/VHS tapes weren't as extreme as modern por

But those magazines were/tapes were way more tamer than what we have now. Kids can access extreme porn with a few clicks easily. Something is definitely wrongh here.

But that only works if you're an athlete or someone who works in the tech industry. (And doesn't get sick) I doubt that anyone from the EU would like to migrate to the USA to do blue collar work.

I don't enjoy ads that advertise things that I've already bought AFTER I bought them.

Lots of security cameras record what's happening on public sidewalks. Lots of cars have dashcams in them.

If you say embarassing shit or shout obscenities in public then don't be surprised if someone pulls out their phone and starts recording it. It's completely different if someone sneaks into your home and leaves microphones there.

Serious effort - as in - not reusing usernames and not posting embarassing stuff using your real name?
885.
by zirgs 4y ago
That's not comparable to posting messages on public websites that can be read by anyone without an account. You don't know who will read them. If you want to talk privately - talk to people that you trust and use apps like Signal

Not sure about large scale operations, but it would be stupid for them not to gather any intelligence in the USA. Especially when their security depends on the US. Foreign intelligence agencies could not do much if they had to follow all th

If you don't want your stuff permanently archived then don't post it on public websites. It's sad that people don't give a shit about their privacy and overshare everything these days.

That's how international espionage works. Everyone is spying on everyone else. Do you think that there aren't any European spies in the USA?

Yeah, because current fuel prices - especially in countries like the USA are fake.

Apparently that's what they intended originally. They wanted Morpheus to show a CPU instead of a battery to Neo in that scene. But they decided to not do that, because they thought that the audience would not understand what that is.

It's only possible to extradite people if they did something that's a crime in both countries.

Lots of eurosceptic parties toned down their euroscepticism after Brexit (predictably) turned out to be a disaster. Front National in France is one of the most notable examples.

There are some twitter clients that allow you to follow other users without an account. I use Fritter on Android. It doesn't show ads and it only shows tweets and replies of those people that you actually follow directly.
