2 and 3 for sure. Anything that makes it so small businesses can more easily and cheaply hire people will have a big impact. Employment taxes, workers comp, etc may seem like they are helpful, but because they raise the cost of hiring emplo

I think it is a bad idea to have free higher education as you say. Studying doesn't help. Studying the correct things does. Free education in no way encourages people to study the correct things (the in-demand skills that pay). All it

Trucking is different than mining in the sense that truckers are scattered throughout the entire US. Mining was especially impactful to certain towns because the main industry in those towns was mining. That said, I have no idea how it will

I'm not saying that they shouldn't have to pay taxes. I'm saying they should have to pay what is required by law in the jurisdiction that they are in. The EU going after them as a special case because they have a lot of money

I can't tell if you are sarcastic. Just because they have money doesn't mean they need to give it away. I'll bet Apple will spend it in a more productive way than any EU government would.

The US has an ocean between them and China. US power projection would be tested and probably ultimately fail due to unbelievable expense of such a war but China would not win unless you call not losing a win. Soviet Union could take their l

Housing shortage is what makes prices high. AirBnB is not why prices are high or why there is a housing shortage.

I mostly agree with you but the 2012 point is a very bad end point to choose for house prices. 2011-12 were the trough on housing prices after the crash.

With kit homes is you do all the labor yourself. If that is factored in, you can get a bit closer. Menards, which is a home improvement retailer in the midwest, sells kits for homes still. See here: https://www.menards.com/m
