I find it quite scary how easily people are influence/manipulated, especially in the age of the internet. It has never been easier to make sensationalist, misleading headlines without anything to back them up. Many people will only rea

So only rich people can afford to make good choices in regards to food? Rice, beans, whole grain bread, and frozen vegetables are all fairly cheap. It doesn't have to be Whole Foods Organic to be healthy.

The goal of the tariffs IS free trade and open borders. You think they are wanted by the administration? They are a tool to get China to play nice, which they haven't been.

In my area, the place where the highest home prices are is where the empty nesters buy because they have the cash to do so. Obviously, they won't be having more children. An effect as simple as that could explain this effect.

I didn't mean to say that you wanted socialism/communism. That was just the most obvious example of nationalizing such a basic need, food. I don't mean to say that a capitalist society has no costs. Capitalism definitely has

A Star Trek ideal would be nice but I don't see it happening. Government is just too slow and inefficient to provide such things effectively. Food is a necessity, but you don't have to look that far back in history to find a gover
