Blame for killing almost never falls on drivers. Look at news headlines--"Car runs over person" and not "Driver runs over person" and you can see how this is viewed. There is a term to describe this--"windshield bia

The Mach-E is a great vehicle. The only thing that may hold it back is high price tag, but tax credits will help.

Trucks are more dangerous to pedestrians because of the higher and flatter front--means people end up underneath rather than above if they are struck. I understand why they kept the look the same and why they used that space but in the futu

In cities we should be encouraging e-bikes more in my opinion. They take up much less space than cars, are quieter, cheaper, and healthier. Even electric cars make almost the same amount of noise at speed as ICE cars and still emit dust fro

Also, IC cars leak chemicals like oil and gasoline into the environment. If the diesel engine is out of tune it may also not be burning as efficiently as expected.

Why does Apple still sell Beats by Dre if they are taking a stand against misogyny?

I didn't see it as defending sexism. It was more pointing out the hypocrisy of Apple for firing Martinez while selling and promoting 'Beats by Dre'. In both cases the creative works were well-known before the hire/acquis

I'm with you on removing tax incentives like that, but do not think requiring affordable housing is very useful. I have a friend that lived in a rent controlled unit that did not have hot water for almost an entire year. Requiring

California is not unique in capping property tax increases in that way. Other states do it. California has a uniquely bad law though since the capped prices can be passed on to family. I agree that LVT is not the only way to fix those issue

America has laws (zoning) that almost require a car. Thus people drive and then more car centric areas are built which requires more driving and more cars. It is a loop that reinforces itself. Most Americans do not have a choice of car owne

Property tax itself is not the issue. The issue is caps on property tax increases that are meant to protect those poor fixed income people. Essentially, people do not make any change that would require the property to be reassessed, which m

California's property tax system is completely messed up to prevent that person from ever having to move or be impacted in any way. Why does that person get to be exempt from change when everyone else has to deal with it?
