I would venture that manufacturers should prevent drivers from breaking the law when possible. For example, autonomous cars rolling stops and speeding should not be possible.

Enforcement of almost all driving offenses is next to nonexistent in the US. Need more automated enforcement in my opinion.

I live several miles from the freeway but can hear it 24/7/365 when outside. I don't know what percent of freeway noise is from vehicles as you say, would love to know amount of noise by vehicle type.

On paper, yes, it would seem a MiG-25 would work against an SR-71, but those are max characteristics and not sustained performance. Mach 3.2 was best case while testing. Real world speed is more like Mach 2.5, especially when carrying missi

Missiles are faster but start in a far disadvantaged position. The missile has to start from 0 speed and 0 altitude. By the time the missile is at speed and altitude, it is too late given the speed of the SR-71.

The reason it didn't overfly was political. The Gary Powers incident being the main initiator of that policy. It overflew Vietnam and had loads of missiles shot at it by Soviet SAMs with Soviet SAM operators. Mainly it flew too fast an

In the US, all officers must be university grads. The enlisted ranks do not need a university degree to join. I would assume the same is true of enlisted ranks in the UK.

I think beyond the obvious large sports stadiums, local high schools are among the worst offenders. New tax levies for 'schools' almost always pass despite much of that spent on new sports fields meant for the exclusive use of spo

In the Vietnam war there were actual Soviet troops shooting down American aircraft with SAMs and it didn't lead to nuclear war. Why do people think even providing Ukraine with aircraft will lead to WW3?

Many people end up doing remote work in person anyways at sufficiently large companies where in order to get things done they have to get on video call or phone. The best solution I've found so far is to provide both as options, do mee

Absolutely correct. The idea that Putin or Russia is somehow 'threatened' by NATO is just wrong. Putin only doesn't want Ukraine in NATO because then he wouldn't be able to take over Ukraine.

Obviously there is no rule that it should. I know plenty of people that kept their old house (and mortgage) when moving and tried to rent it out to build some equity and make money.
