> Not to mention using `--<CMD>` If you read further down in the documentation, you can just prefix your command with `jc` (e.g. `jc ls`). The `--cmd` param is actually a good idea, since it allows you to mangle the data before con

It reminded me of the same thing. I remember how back before Google dominated the market I used Metacrawler (which surprisingly still exists, but it's a completely different site now)

It's very interesting to see this new wave of games that are now evoking the childhood (or the "retro" feeling) of a new generation, in the same way pixelated games did for us not so long ago. Much like fashion or music, the

To be fair this wastes CPU cycles in all platforms. And it probably took more human effort than keeping Google Reader alive FFS.

I'll try! Last.fm started many years ago, in the early '00s (pretty much like Django!). They decided to use Django to serve their website and API. As the years went by, some issues and limitations started to show up: the API has s

It could be a nice option for small projects! The companies where I saw Django in production had terrible issues. Last.fm is one of them, I can't speak directly about the other one (aerospace). Django is good for a proof of concept but

I tried several alternatives (including one which tried to be exactly like Reader), but I didn't get used to them. Up until then I always knew what was happening in tech and global news. Since Reader was killed I ended up relying on ne

Even using Arch, I rarely find any big problem using Linux. There are small inconveniences from time to time but, even so, maintenance takes less time/effort than removing bloatware after each Windows 10 update...

I've been using Last.fm for ~15 years now. I love to see my stats -even if I don't listen to music as much as I did when I was a teenager-. In the process of keeping my profile accurate I developed an open source tool (Open Scrobb

Even if your area has coverage, adding radios increases resilience and may help triangulate the position of aircraft in other radio modes. You can also check the data yourself instead of depending on commercial sites, e.g. with tar1090.
