That mattered because we fed the animals their remains.

LOL since when is Australia seen as "high-trust, harmonious adult society"? It is very USA-like in many ways. And the nordics are hardly any different to anywhere else in Europe in that regard.

Advanced food storage and agriculture tech originated not in Europe, though, but in the great flood plains - Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, Amazonia. On that note, it is by the way theorized that the necessity to coordinate farming with the flo

Just as bad, and then some. The big ones used to only have B2B power with vendor lock-in. The new ones have much more. They have power over their individual users, too, by locking in their data and controlling the communication and sharing

It simply does not matter, because all DEs are on Wayland now, everything supports it, and honestly, I haven't seen an application not supporting Wayland for quite some time. Even Chrome is Wayland-native now.

Oh it is already happening. There is an enormous amount of innovation, and "clean tech" is getting more efficient and less expensive by the day. You just barely hear about it because it gets muffled by all the screaming of a handf

LLMs won't help them any more than "normal" dating/socializing advice did and does - which is not much. In the end, you just gotta socialize, and practise that. Advice is just merely a small nudge, has to be very persona

Of course it is illegal in many countries to download pirated movies. And the USA put a lot of pressure on countries where it isn't illegal - I know that well enough, in my country it was and is legal.

Oh yes, and for languages where that is not directly possible, there are still ways - I implemented libraries for Chicken Scheme in org-mode with org-babel; the examples are simultaneously tests, runnable directly from within the org file,

That is an interesting one. "The internet doesn't forget", they say, but all the bs and mudslinging around that got basically purged from the internet. It's impressive sometimes.
