Thank you, I agree with #1 100%. I actually took a year off and found a startup in a field where I had an idea for a startup but decided not to do; statistically, it would've been a challenge. In any case, while my friends were doing c

Risk being some people go on them and commit suicide and some people experience psychosis? Please don't downplay shit, if it works for you it is great but its not for everyone.

MATH courses typically have large student count, thus needing multiple professors and sections. BTW, What I said is anecdotal.

Would it be worth an effort if there was an open source protocol of secure communication of IOT devices? For example, many solutions use MQTT, why not make a secure TCP/UDP one by implementing one of the higher layers in OSI stack?

Yeah and one of them decided to venture into book writing, had connections and was friends with other professors... That's one way to sell that pig lipsticks. Edit: And incorrect about department = array(Professors)

Its funny. This was my exact shower thought this morning. I find books overly verbose, and too formal. I do not think there is a need to dumb-down technical content. I also disagree with having a page limit as it would likely lead to omissi

Yeah. I was told it leads to rapid development.... disagree. Just making a project in class i found it to Beverly tedious jumping between diagrams. Much rather prefer code.

Professors often do not have the choice to pick a book. They have to teach off of one recommended by department. more politics into the education industry.

Thanks for the read. Very educational. I would suggest increasing the font-weight of your bolded text. I could not differentiate the two when skimming over the article; only when I read very carefully did I notice that you had somethings bo

For somethings like setting up boards, typedef is sometimes required too; or at least that is what I was told in my class xD

The tokens seem to be physical. Does that mean you print them on the spot? Edit: Addendum: Also, if they are physical, why did you consider physical over simply displaying them on a tiny screen? I can think of one reason, I can buy a token

I can see some abuse here. If I live in a suburb, set it as my home zone, then just work downtown. Perhaps limit the "home area" designation at the end of the day. So before someone is "ending" their day, they can click

To me it sounds like they should consider adding a feature where a driver can pick an area they want to give rides in.

I remembered getting hustled to buy my driver McDonalds then coming home to realize I got billed $36 dollars for his time; a trip that usually costs $9. He guilt me into thinking he does not get paid the more he waits. Alcohol...

Can you talk a little bit about how you power the Dabbas and refresh the tokens if they are only valid for 24 days. Do you guys function like "doodh wallahs" in that you visit the locations every morning to reset power and tokens?

I am willing to bet it is something very trivial like Raspberry PIs connected to dongles. If you look at the map a lot of the locations are very concentrated; this is likely because there are shit tonne of "Chai Wallah" places in

Good read. I am wondering, why did you decide not to do a free HTML version of the book; aside from the obvious, it is tedious to do. Did you consider Physical printing of books?

I think what one person said about this really hit home for me. Rising tides raise all boats or something like that. Btw I was just summarizing the various points brought up in other comments for the person who asked.
