I see what you did there. My writing coach always told me “Anyone can say anything if you give them enough words.” Some people love to use big college words. I think it makes them feel superior. It’s hard to speak simply and clearly.

This is a good idea. While I’ve built similar documents by request, I never thought about always keeping one going. Good tip, thank you.

Sounds like the teacher may have dropped the ball on a learning opportunity in this case. I've learned that I will regularly teach my kids things they don't care about.

Predictable result. I’ve never seen a protest go well for any company. You can win these protests and still lose the work. The best case scenario is you win the protest and have to rebid the whole thing again. You’ll still probably end up l

I enjoyed this article. I have always been a learner. It's always interesting to look back over my life and think on subjects I spent countless hours learning, and then integrating into my regular thinking patterns. The best part about

US Government agencies tailor bids to favor companies every single day. We call them "wired bids." Government agencies are made up of people. Those people develop relationships with their providers, when they like them. They'

I also have the problem of my mind wandering during meetings. This is a pretty cool solution. I tried several of the other toys you mentioned too and none of them worked. Maybe I'll try this for a change.

Interesting post to be getting down voted. I personally don't subscribe, but I value opinions that are different than mine (which include all media outlets, on all sides). I DO subscribe to the Wall Street Journal, which is worth the c

Interesting question! I've been in government contracting off and on for over a decade. I've spent the last 5 or so helping small businesses get contracts and grants. In my opinion, having a 2 sided business - 1 for commercial and

This is my solution too. I rarely use "public" wifi, but if I do, I ALWAYS turn "auto-join" off. Also, from time to time, I go in and reset my network settings, which erases any networks I've forgotten to forget.

Good write up. I manage multiple ongoing projects and my company is growing a team under me. This is a great approach that I will put in my toolbox.

That looks like them, yes. When they show up they take over. They’re attracted to the buzzing sound of a weedeater, I learned. They come and hang on to your shirt and arms and land on your head. You can’t stop every 30 seconds to swat them

Some might say the signs of the end are everywhere lol. Seriously though, this reminds me of the cicada swarms that hit the south from time to time. Those ARE quite like locusts.

Funny that you put all these “issues” in quotes. Gave me a smile. :) Because as we know: Government spending is growing at an unprecedented rate under current POTUS, and corporate welfare is alive and well.
