Do both i.e. charge them $1 for 1000 calls, and cap it at $30 per month for a period of 3 months - after which they would need to sign up for the monthly plan to continue to get the $30 rate.

Was in same shoes as yourself. Their reason was that IT wanted to deal with macs only. If you are on the command line most of the time, you won't miss Linux that much anyways. The rest you get used to pretty fast. I do like the trackpa

I tend to get middle of the line machines - and run Linux in a VM under VirtualBox or the likes. Works very well. You can run pretty much any Linux distribution you like. A lower cost machine means that you don't worry too much about u

Seems reasonable enough. Can't help but wonder though, that a lot or the other errnos were probably also invented for very specific contexts, but find use in a wider sense because they capture a more generic error class.

What if an ioctl is trying to indicate that a certain "entry" is not valid or available? Like when it is returning a cached entry or dealing with some container, where a notion of an entry does make sense. Insisting that ENOENT is reserved
