You should try getting a bank to become your credit card processor, the Crypto stuff will seem like child's play.

Fair enough. I'll just stick to my history keeping calculators. :)

Neat, but a log of transactions would do the same thing, easier wouldn't it? RPN calculators tend to do this nicely.

When Tito asks their cell phone provider to not allow calls from Tootie, it just blocks the known endpoint of Tootie's from being able to call Tito, but it doesn't make any assumptions that Tootie is bad, or that Tito's versi

Once could argue, we all should care about accessibility, hence we should all care about Semantic HTML.

Essentially yes. I can't know all laws for all jurisdictions(nor would I want to), but laws could make a carve-out provision. I'm not currently aware of any that matter in my jurisdiction(s). That doesn't mean there aren

If you are backing up users data that is not yours to own and do with as you please, yes you absolutely can have to many backups. If you are required by law or policy to erase user data and it's in your backup(s), you now have a real p

jmp.chat is awesome, that's def. what I use for this. I am deaf, so I don't ever make voice calls, but I use the SMS/MMS features of JMP.chat and am happy.

Generally you will find lots of different solutions to make it all work right. None of them are "wrong" or "right", there are 2 pieces to logs: 1) Capturing them 2) Indexing/acting on them Most tools focus on one

No, because I needed to interoperate with Windows and at the time it didn't handle SSH CA certs. Maybe that's fixed now? Anyways, we use Hashicorp Vault's SSH OTP system. Works fine.

If inflation is due to supply, the Fed can't do anything about it. They can only affect the demand side of the equation, which they are doing.

Nix can build Docker containers, VM's, ISO images, etc. I build ISO's from nix all the time to run special compute nodes. The machines boot from the ISO, so every boot they get the same, sane environment.

At least one reason: cyber-security insurance policies are starting to mandate MFA, because they are tired of paying out on insurance claims.

login.gov exists. It's not mandated, nor does it currently allow non-government users(last I checked), but otherwise it generally solves the technical problems fine.

Clearly they are talking about CPI-U, the common US definition of inflation. Everyone has their own personal inflation rate, mine in 2021 was 1%. We will see how 2022 turns out, but I'm betting it will go up for me.

FIDO2 and webauthn are agnostic to requiring a FAANG account. It's not required. Yes most developers are lazy and will just use the stuff MS or Google or Apple put out that implements all of this, but it's by no means required a
