"TV" can mean many things: 1. The content, which, as others here have stated, is here to stay for quite some time. And this is what the networks (NBC/Fox/etc.) do best so I think they're going to be around much longer than the RIAA. It's ve

The first one, "Failure: the secret to success" is pretty good. I don't think I've ever been this motivated by a commercial.

Man Jason, you're starting to worry me :). I didn't believe there was enough utility in a record/playback feature (and am still not completely convinced). But looks like people here find it useful.

Why is this needed? JL just interviewed people, and they subjectively stated their opinions, however true or false. I would think the burden of independently verifying every claim (esp regarding fuzzy details of what people said in privat

1. Hulu is where they're testing the waters of Internet distribution; it's still a limited experiment. 2. They're hoping Hulu -because of its requirement of a computer- won't cannibalize their broadcast TV shows. In terms of their bottom li

I know. But when you bring up the same show on TV using over-the-air/satellite/cable you see more ads.

Hulu.com does have fewer ads than broadcast TV (altho a DVR can circumvent ads on the latter). If NBC makes less per view on Hulu than it does on TV, this request makes some sense.

I didn't know you could use Adsense for such real-time dynamic content on a webpage. Doesn't the G crawler have to come around and index a webpage n hours later?

That makes sure the code is consistent if the user refreshes the webpage or just visits it the first time. But what happens if the user just keeps the AJAXy web-page open for hours (as I do with Gmail for instance)? If you deploy too often

My main beef with Walmart is the service. Fry's and Walmart are the only 2 big stores in America I frequent where service is this bad. Target is much better. Compare returning an item or disputing the scanned price with Walmart; it's night

It seems like a well-designed program, but why are they targeting only 3 selections? Seems like a lot of work for just 3.

Actresses, singers and presidents are a little different though. Actresses/singers want much of the popularity, but struggle to maintain the right balance. And presidents -well- many folks have logical reasons to want them dead. I can't s

This is terrible, worse than people speculating about Steve Jobs' health, as an example of how low folks in our industry can go. (I know they're unrelated but the 2 evoke the same emotions in me.) I desperately want Michael Arrington to cov

How about "risk-taking"? I like that Obama frequently mentions it as a virtue, but am not sure if it's common among presidents.

Seconded. Definitely the best option if using a Mac. Make sure you get a decent mic: since you'll still be grabbing your voice from the old-fashioned analog world.

You won't have this option with the 17" MBP though coz Apple doesn't license the Magsafe connector. It's the same reason you don't find 3rd party adaptors connecting via Magsafe.
