I think it worked technically and I‘ve seen a few Access-based solutions to problems faced by people/groups without any real access to development resources. However, these solutions pretty much always came from people with rather tech

Ah, I see. Personally, I wouldn’t really consider using a vendor-specific app when the same vendor-agnostic workhorses have been doing their job fine for decades. Never used Fastmail but back when I still used Gmail, you could use it just

Might (also) be a good way to expand testing and process development, similar to why they - presumably - started with the SIM ejector tool when they incorporated Liquid Metal in their processes.

This. Anecdotally, I had a student around 2021 who had some technical inclination and interest but no CS education and no programming experience. He got into using AI early and with the help of ChatGPT was able to contribute rather substant

Oof. I've had the experience of ex-colleagues, some of whom I thought had become friends, suddenly stopping all communication with me (In my case because I spoke up against mental and physical abuse against others). It hurt a lot. Hope

Huh? To me, Graphene just feels like unbloated Android with a few convenient ways of customizing google stuff and that's it. I like that it actually gets out of my way and I don't really understand how it "coddles" you.

Why don’t you print and test it and contribute to the documentation? Too much to ask as well? ;)

It's so sad to see these attacks on institions that are intended to save lives and cure horrible diseases. Many moons ago, during civil service and volunteer work with kids, I've occasionally been confronted with parents who were

Depending on context (and probably on the judge) calling a person pure evil might be considered illegal. That is not the same as saying it about an attack or other event.

Neither is it illegal to state that a specific attack by settlers is pure evil nor is it impossible to critizise what goes on in Israel in Germany as you allude in your other comments.

Debatable. I use Obsidian specifically because it can be relatively minimalist and it's easy to get the view I want and use 99% of the time: List of files on the left, main note window (sometimes with tabs and/or split) in the mid

This kind of file sync works but you can run into problems. Switching from one device to the other too fast and editing the same file can get you into trouble, for example. And all the other tradition file sync and conflict resolution issue

In many countries, that ordnance is still found and disposed of more or less regularly. The decaying involves lots of nasty chemicals. It's happening at sea as well, by the way (because they dumped their leftovers after the wars there)

What's your point? As you basically yourself, there is a need for a bit of maintenance on machinery because it's not really possible to design that away completely. That is, unsurprisingly, the case with bikes, Prusas, Bambus and

As mentioned in my parent comment, I've made purchase decisions for FDM desktop printers since before Prusa (as a company and product) was around and I've been responsible for 3D printers from a lot of different manufacturers over

The point is not that Prusas need constant repair. The point is that they are reliable workhorses and repairable and usually also long-term-upgradeable.

You don't care how expensive and complicated it is to repair and maintain your mountain bike (especially if you plan to eat gravel a lot)? And your take on machines is that you better throw away a bunch of working 3D printers and repla

Prusa makes their products locally, the spare part situation is good, the company runs an open Makerspace in their basement, helps host conferences and has done a lot for Open Hardware in general. They also have offered consistent upgrade

That is hardly a function of the printers being Open Hardware. There are lots of unreliable commercial printers as well as fiddly open ones. However, the most reliable ones in the desktop space have mostly been open - like the old Ultimaker

I find this dichotomy a bit strange. A lot of people consume alcohol alone and in many cases this ends up badly for them (no need to speculate about foreboding - the body (and the bodies) of evidence is readily available). Cannabis can be v

Congress may be considered "better" in the sense that the MIC would not find a forum there (and would be relentlessly made fun of). More importantly and as to your point about the expensiveness: The Club and all the volunteers put

If you have not seen a transreflective color LCD in person, my suggestion would be to search for reviews of the old Pebbles to get a feel for it (or just get one, they can be had for very cheap sometimes). It's very different that the
