Microsoft is the only one pushing for ACPI on ARM, but as you said they have hefty weight in that area. I don't think it is right for the platform, but if it works who am I to say.

Most of the x86 platform (ACPI) is well defined and openly accessible (not free but open). There’s still some offenders (Surface, HP, Broadcom) that introduce quirks that break sleep and some HID accessories but most of it works out of the

Sure which is a perfectly fine trade off; almost all recent CPUs have enough multicore capacity that make this trade favorable.

That is not true of quite a few multi-core systems. A lot of them, especially those that really care about performance will strap all interrupts to core 0 and only interrupt other cores via IPI when necessary.

what you are describing is a universal Bluetooth issue. Windows suffers the same; some Android devices support proprietary codecs to slightly improve the situation but it's still sad we are still here.

That's definitely not the case, Apps can lock new features behind IAPs and keep charging for new features while sharing bug fixes.

If you look at the financial statements, it's quite the opposite however? Their chips made on TSMC process are doing quite well and IFS has failed to secure worthwhile external customers and is losing money in their expansion hand over

BSPDN is not about putting devices on the front and back, the logic layer is still mostly 2D, it's about the power connects moving to the back of the chip so there's less interference with logic and larger wiring can be used.
