OCaml is still quite academic, Caml-light (Caml without object and with some difference) is used to teach CS in some Math undergrad and it is use by academic researcher who don't want to go back to C. That's said there is not so much Engine

It's the same for French AZERTY keyboards. If you are programming, just remap you keyboard to normal QWERTY, that way easier then.

Can't you print from your editor ? (Emacs can) Then you get your highlight setup. For more fine-grain control on the output, there is some LaTeX package that can highlight code.

I have always wondered whats the overhead of scp over ftp ? Especially when copying file locally, it's most of the time easier than ftp (activated by default on most OS).

I should move to a country where English is spoken by most people. I was in the same situation one year ago before moving to Netherlands. You will never completely loose your french accent (hey they said it's sexy :) ), but you will improve

I disagree. ICC is often use to optimize heavy computation code. As it have a reputation of producing faster code.
