When I was an undergraduate at Cambridge we built one during 2006 in a team of six people working under Alan Blackwell (the preface-author of the paper linked above). Now it appears on HN and I cannot find the source code anywhere :-|

I thought it was well-written, calm and thorough, carefully backing up each point and not descending into hyperbole. It's a difficult line to walk and I think this letter does a professional job.

It's just a software engineering job to work on their CKAN+Drupal stack (Python and PHP, respectively). Basically there's nothing political about it. Source: I work in a similar team on data.gov.uk.

That is incredible. I'm not really advocating that way of playing - I never really play a word I can't define. But I'm trying to justify an exception for the two-letter-words because they're so useful. They're a bit of a special case - know
