I am an Australian national who lives overseas and recently I was going through the airport going into Australia to visit. Turns out we have something similar going on, but backed by law and without constitutional protection. I was told to

Yep I took it from Gothenburg to Berlin (via Copenhagen and Hamburg) and those wind farms are seriously impressive! Also a really cool view if you take the bridge from Denmark to Sweden, windmills in the sea almost as far as the eye can see

Interestingly in the last 6 months I’ve been on both sides of this: being hired and hiring others. It was really cool because it allowed me to understand what is actually good and useful in the hiring process from both ends. While hiring (o

Probably want to add a PM (particulate matter) sensor to the mix. I've built a few similar devices using ESP chips and various laser dust sensors, highly recommend the Plantower PMS5003 - laser defraction, PM1-PM10 accuracy, ~$20 and t

As much as I disagree with mass incarceration, I don't like these "it costs $nK to house a prisoner", since usually it's not quite true - costs are amortised over many thousands of prisoners and the state wouldn't a

You can't do that because that's not the way encryption works. The reason onion addresses are random looking is because they are a function of the hidden service's public key. If you could generate a "private key"

With Elixir/OTP there would be no disconnection/reconnection. The way hot code push works with OTP is that each "channel" (OTP "process"/websocket connection) has a GenServer, which is basically a state ma

This is a great tutorial (I've read it), but I think for a number of reasons JUCE[0] is vastly superior to WDL-OL (although if you're not already familiar with audio programming in C++, the docs can be a little daunting). I would
