David Bull is awesome, I recommend you check out his website and YouTube if you like this woodblock print stuff. Not sure if he still does, but he used to Twitch stream carving blocks a couple of times a week.

Tilde is used in path names too much (~user), pipe is a logical OR. The best I've found is ^ (caret) which rarely shows up in real life.

I'm probably off the mark a little bit.... but 'rule' implies that whitespace is really <.ws> (totally ignored white space matching thingy). '|' is the Longest-Match-First (different from Perl/PCRE/

Check out Perl 6's (or Rakudo's if you prefer) error messages. If they are LTA (Less Than Awesome), it's a bug. Often the Perl 6 Grammar that is parsing my Perl 6 code actually tells me things I didn't notice.... The

I have found with 1blue3brown that I sometimes have to wait a while and ponder things and go back and watch the video again some time later. So this particular video was working for me up to a point and then I maybe just missed some import

Tip: don't install Linenoise and use rlwrap instead. You get unicode, history across sessions, and if you tweak it right tab completion.

Knight knew enough to leave the machine off long enough for the capacitors to discharge so the machine started from a clean slate. The Novice was turning the machine back on too soon.

You will one day punch yourself for not being safe. tar czf - | ssh destination 'cd /remote/dir && tar xzf -' Test that `cd` or one day you'll end up extracting in the wrong place.
