Yep pretty much that and some. I find not only the install and out of the box experience very good on both systems, but also usage. As a long time Linux and Gnome user i got accustomed with an arguably better experience in managing software

In my opinion it's not "installing" apps in Mac that can be "unintuitive", it's grasping the fact that a lot of applications are self contained; setting up an application on your OS is as simple as dragging it to a folder on your hard drive

Exactly. Thanks! Had no idea that feature existed, going to try it out. Always have Opera i stalled and the UI is cool but frequent crashes (on OSX) and, i admit, mainstreams, make ne not using it much although i do cross html browser tests

he's totally right. I have almost bought more games in a year of having a Steam account than in the last 10 years and i prefer to buy them on Steam for the "convenience" of it's "cloud based" service.
