That person you are arguing with is not arguing with you in good faith. They are in the "base load" camp, despite knowing full well we need an "all of the above" approach. The subsidies that both nuclear and fossil fuel

It is called ‘transition’, and it stopped increasing. If one looks at 2025 preliminary data, one can see it has flattened out, continuing with the 2024 trend.

It seems to me the issue is not really setting up and building around K8s as an infrastructure orchestrator, afterall k8s sells itself as a cluster API which is the de facto standard nowadays. The issue starts when you need to handle very s

Sorry, @OP, not you :) Yes, there will be. But the point is that potentially, all of these GPUs will be at 100% at all times, which makes the 1 000 000 realistic.

What use cases in agriculture are you referring to? I do not see space or weight being issues. Just see what happens to corn and ethanol.

Not sure what you think demand is, but operators are building 10 GW AI datacenters. Assuming a GPU consumes ~1 kW, the number is potentially (upper bound) 10 GW / 1 kW, way larger than ‘1000’. For one company.
