Scientific method tries to get as close as possible to facts. The issue is that popular press and "influencers" ignore limitations in studies and always tell just their interpretations while pointing to "the science".

But this is only because everything mainstream that is P2P uses some kind of a centralized relay server. P2P would be much much cheaper for everyone if everyone used IPv6, so it makes a difference.

NAT is not disallowed in IPv6, it's just discouraged as it breaks end-to-end principle. You can still have stateful firewalls that work for the majority of cases and you can also use NPT (network prefix translation also called 1-to-1 N

You are using it wrong. You can't access a service on a server on your local network using your router's global IP. You should use server's global IP address (and open the port for that IP on the firewall). If your server use

My last and current laptops work completely fine with linux, but I chose hardware that works fine. The old one is a Latitude E5470, and the new one is a Lenovo Thinkbook 14 G2 ARE (with Ryzen 4700u). Both require no extra drivers, while the

You can probably make it boot to basic a lot quicker. Don't need to wait for all services to start up. Even LibreELEC boots faster. If I'm correct and this uses SDL, SDL2 supports kms/drm.

You can use different TCP congestion control algorithms, not just cubic. BBR2 has no issues with high RTT even with packet loss and is fair to other TCP streams. It serves 25Mbps stream in real time to users in Japan and the US from a data-

macOS is interesting: some APIs normalize filenames while others don't. And it causes some very interesting bugs. One example is when you submit a file in Safari it doesn't normalize the file name while js file.name does.

Why don't the mainstream actually inform people of all important facts? Them being trustworthy, will make people less inclined to believe misinformation. If you skip over important questions, these gaps will be filled with bull**ters.
