This confuses me, as I can think of any language where `<<<<<<HEAD` would be valid? This is why its formatted this way. I'd say the compiler or interpreter should tell you within no time where it encountered invalid t

GitLab doesn't have apps yet, although there are those from other companies like Trident[1]. Other than that, chat is provided by mattermost, and can be enabled in 30 seconds. All other feature are all already available, right now. [1]

Ruby, compared to some compiled languages, is indeed harder to ship, which is why we've got the gitlab-omnibus package.[1] Thanks to our packaging team the install and getting GitLab up and running shouldn't take over 10 minutes.
