I would think that's the reason why Boring Co. cancelled the project then. They probably need to get some "MVP" tunnels up and running as soon and as cheaply as possible.

I'm not super familiar with how cellular networks operate, but isn't there a way to authenticate the session with the tower so that the IMSI doesn't get transmitted to a snooping party? If we do it with laptops and wifi APs,

I haven't read but just a summary of the book but even that was helpful in letting me reframe some of these issues that I struggle with. https://www.amazon.com/Mastery-Keys-Success-Long-Term-Fulfil... The key message t

I suspect you will continue to be disappointed with that expectation. Management of resources, motivating employees, and political savvy are all very distinct skills from writing code.

I'm not saying it isn't inertia. I'm saying that Thaler is right in saying that is a semantics issue. Call it what you want, the actual behavior is real.

Nitpick here.... There seems to me be to be significant difference between "loss" in terms of something already tangibly owned and "loss" in terms of missing out on an opportunity. Of course marketing schemes for "a

Be careful with that. It's easy to get overwhelmed when you least expect it. Let yourself relax and get lost on occasion. It will do wonders for your mental health.

Not necessarily. Those statistics would imply that there is a huge number with little to no savings at all which is what the article speaks to. Medians will move towards zero more quickly than means when as more zeros are added to the data

Interesting how many of the salaries in these samples are tied to college towns. Cambridge, College Station, Knoxville, & Chapel Hill just to name a few that I saw.
