Well we can't all make a living as authors or librarians. Ads supported this delusion for a while but historically most people trying to live from their creativity/written work (or modernly, video work) have actually starved to de

I may be in a minority, but I believe the incentives of this method are "better" for the spirit of the open web, and I for one am prepared for the low revenue if it means this ideology may perdure. The motivation is not to use *co

Either talk about something you care about a lot and do it for the love, or remember you're competing against students doing this for the fun or as an exercise.

I believe the general thought here is more to have the mining (and content) behind a good old paywall, featuring prominently your different options, with "mine for access" just one of the available options.

Yes the inefficiency in mining coins and the hefty fees impact the game theoretic value of this method but it doesn't mean there is no value in that form of compensation. If the choice is between a barren wasteland of providers remov

I don't like this stereotyped answer but isn't this what "move fast and break things" was supposed to be about? Why did we become afraid to diverge from the norm and trends on the internet? From a consumer standpoint, un

I don't think that would be practical. I assume the volume to be milled out is pretty convoluted if you want yo do it mono-bloc. If you break it down, you're back to welding issues. That said, I'm not a rocket scientist.

While I'm sure you're right about the root of the word, this notion of entrepreneur itself comes from the french verb "entreprendre", which means something similar to undertake or enter a task/business.

Hard to take this seriously with a mistake right on the front page: > It's the cheapest miner on the market: 85% to you - 15% to Coinerra A rapid search turns up crypto-loot.com with 88% payout. That said, it's good to see more

I guess it comes down to which school of wizardy you went to. I'd rather muck around in python, if only because then I wouldn't dread rereading/editing the whole thing a couple months later.

I very strongly disagree with the "unskilled" part. I am not a labor scholar either, but unions serve to federate common interests of workers who may not individually have leverage against their employer or relevant regulation bod
