Reminds me of the 3D file browser user interface in Jurassic Park, which was an actual application. Looks cool but its not good to use (I mean the 3d file browser, not this software galaxies, which i found quite good). 3D interfaces rarely

Half life (1998) also had an OEM version called "Day one" containing the first half of the game along with some slightly last minute changes missing from it, compared to the released version (different handgun ammo count etc). Won

It uses the rasterization HW for large triangles and uses a software rasterizer in compute for small triangles. The HW rasterizer is not that efficient if the triangles are tiny, which is the case for nanite.

Agreed but if talking about default file managers, its even worse on ubuntu. Nautilus is imo very bad compared to win file manager (hitting a key starts a global search in that folder, it crashes very often etc.). Does anyone know if they p

OpenCL has a category called CL_ DEVICE_ TYPE_ ACCELERATOR for that, so something like 'Accelerator' seems to fit

And the best thing is that when you are releasing, you turn this validation layer off, which is good for 2 reasons: -No performance is wasted in release builds -Validation checks can be expensive and exhaustive as it will not run in product
