Note that the frontend code still knows that an ad is played, and bytes of the actual video are still pushed without any artificial delay, so for now ad blockers can deal with this using a custom script.

No, because the YT frontend knows that a different video is played. It must know at least to make them unskippable. It's just that both ads and video are bundled inside one response, but the format is YT-specific.

Note I've recently released a tool that can find all chunks of a SPA that works for popular configurations (like webpack or ES modules): https://github.com/zb3/getfrontend

I found this url in Google when I searched for appspot "gweb" - I used the gweb keyword because I noticed some google sites use that keyword. Generally I was searching for exposed source maps in Google owned websites.

Thanks :) I got the idea to write this tool years ago when I noticed that even though many frontends use code splitting, chunks can be enumerated most of the time , because if the name includes the content hash, there must be a map from chu

The scale might be different here, since prompting AI is much cheaper than hiring a begginer programmer. The previous loss could for instance be compensated by attribution.

Positive-sum rarely exists in this world.. after all, one's wealth determines their influence over others. Both sides might gain but this usually means others lose. In this case, contributors might lose attribution. SO might lose traff

I couldn't find a list of "eligible charges", also that doesn't seem to mean advance payment would be the only payment option so I couldn't be billed and the service would just stop.. did I miss anything?

You mean stack overflow contributors will be rewarded for making OpenAI models better? Or maybe it's just that both companies want to maximize their profit by exploiting these unpaid contributors?
